Doing demolition work at home is quite easy and it allows you to let off steam, especially when it comes to knocking down partitions. But when the rubble piles up and makes it difficult to circulate on the site or the storage of construction materials, the question of their disposal arises in a very thorny way. "With a few relatives, we spent a week on demolition work in my house, recently bought in Issy-les-Moulineaux," explains Rémi, engineer. "We decided to use rubbish bags with a capacity of thirty kilos and to evacuate them by truck. But this solution quickly proved to be extremely tiring and painful. We had to do several dozen round trips with an 11 m3 truck filled to the max! " And once the rubble is removed, you still have to know where to bring it back! "We used to dispose of some of the rubble every time we went to the recycling center. Only after a while the staff quickly noticed our whereabouts and were rather unhappy! didn't stop us from continuing… We had to get rid of all our bags! If I had to do it again, I think I would use the services of a specialized company. Even if it costs more, is more practical because everything is taken care of, from demolition to the evacuation of rubble. " Using a specialized company seems to be the simplest solution. If you still prefer to go to a recycling center, it is better to favor central recycling centers than small local establishments. They are often equipped with large skips which can allow a much larger volume to be removed at once.
