On the occasion of the Cannes Festival and its celebrity parades, the Croisette is adorned with its finest attire. Far from the glitter of the legendary Cannes red carpet, the Carlton, the Martinez and the Majestic Barrière have offered themselves a new refined decoration with clean lines. Because elegance and finesse are the common denominators of their new ornaments.

The Carlton: a dedication to the cinema

The Carlton, a true jewel of Art Nouveau and the Belle Epoque, today reveals a completely renovated seventh floor. After four years of work, Nicolas Papamiltiades, Parisian interior designer, recreates the refined style of the French Riviera of the 1950s. The precious woods of the parquet floors, the marbles of the bathrooms rub shoulders with satin, the silk of the curtains. Light shades like beige and cream enhance classic furniture. The whole is declined in the spirit of the film "La main au collet" by Alfred Hitchcock, whose shooting had also taken place in the hotel itself in 1954. The 7th art leaves its mark on the whole space , since even the suites are named after famous celebrities.

Le Martinez: refined glamor

Far from ostentatious luxury, the Martinez is also part of refinement and elegance. In this place, the Belle Epoque, the 1930s, Art Deco, chic and glamor are found… Chocolate, taupe and gold accentuate the hues of cream and honey. Precious wood is a must and ideally accompanies rare marble in bathrooms! The furniture signed Jean Michel Franck coexists with the lithographs of Picasso or Matisse. But the Mediterranean touch is not forgotten either! The idyllic terraces are available in teak and rub shoulders with the emblematic olive trees of the place.

The Majestic Barrière: the star base

As for the last Eden in Cannes inaugurated in 1926, the Majestic Barrière reveals its new decoration to us today. Real pied-à-terre of the stars who stay there during the festival, the actors are now invited to the year: through 600 black and white photos present in the corridors and stairs, the biggest names in cinema, Al Pacino , Francis Ford Coppola or Catherine Deneuve… are available to us. On the decorative side, from the entrance, its shimmering colors invite you to escape and presage the decor of the palace. The mixture of chic classicism and discreet modernism is planted. The Louis XVI medallion armchairs, in carmine and gold, contrast with the light colors of the walls. Modern brown sofas with plump cushions echo dark dressers and nightstands. Finally, the ambient gold and black, give the palace a relevant touch of exoticism.
